2008 Dodge Challenger: An Exciting Day At The Dodge Dealership

2008 Dodge Challenger
Last week end a couple of friends and I went to the Dodge dealership to see the new Challenger, and it was so much more then we expected, this car could not have been built better, it is absolutely perfect in every way, it could not be any better.

We didn’t even get to drive the car, as it was already sold, it had been ordered early by another fan of the Dodge challenger, so needless to say we’re still waiting for one to come in that isn’t already sold, I can’t even begin to explain how happy I was to see this car on the showroom floor.

2009 Camaro – A Ghost – Or A Real Contender

2009 Camaro
There are a number of things that I like about the 2009 camaro, But will it pick up where the first generation camaro left off, or will it build a legacy all it’s own, I think it’s going to be somewhere in between, I don’t see it raising eyebrows like the first generation camaro did.

It has it’s good points, and it’s bad points, I’m going to start with the good points about it, first of all Chevrolet has done a great job in the engine area of the car, using the best of new technology to build horsepower, and keeping it low in the emissions area, the 2009 camaro is a contender in this area.

1970 Buick GSX - A Muscle Car - Gone But Not Forgotten

I’m going to attempt to write another article about the 1970 Buick GSX, as it happens to be one of my favorite American muscle cars, and they are getting to be few and far between, now a lot of you may not even know that Buick built a muscle car, but they did, and as it turns out, one of the most powerful ever built.

For those of you who don’t know what a Buick GSX is, you may know what a Sky;ark is, the GSX is built on the same platform as the Skylark, to look at it you may even mistake it for a Skylark, but the looks are about as far as the similarities go, this in not a typical Skylark.

A True Classic Car Lover – American Classic Cars

I love the American classic cars, and it doesn’t much matter what the car is as long as it was built in the USA, I do tend to like muscle cars a bit better then just regular American classics, the classic cars had such a stylish and classy look to them, and they didn’t all look the same, the cars today are more plain and drab.

There is nothing like the feeling of driving a true American muscle car, from the moment you fire the engine u, your blood begins to pump, you feel like a gorilla on steroids, like nothing can beat you, or even match you in a power contest, because you car and you are invincible, of course you know that it’s not true, but at least you have had the opportunity to have the feeling.

2009 Camaro – Is It Destined For Greatness

I love camaros, I am one of the hugest fans of the camaro ever to walk the earth, or breathe the general’s tasty air, I really don’t know about the new one though, will it offers some cool stuff, like the 400 horsepower engine, and the cool interior amenities, they could have have spent a little more time on the exterior of the car, like Dodge did on the challenger, and no matter how bad I hate to say it, like Ford did on the mustang.

The whole idea behind the retro theme is to get the blood of the old muscle car freaks pumping, and I just don’t see the new camaro doing that, although I love the idea that Chevrolet is bringing the camaro back, I think they could save a bit more of the 60’s camaro look for the outside of the car, I hate to say that if I buy a retro muscle car, it will be the new Dodge challenger.

The GTO Judge

1970 GTO Judge

So you think it’s a Pontiac muscle car that you want, how about a true American super car, I’m talking about the 1970 GTO judge, with 455 cubic inches of fire breathing Pontiac power, the GTO judge is however extremely rare and hard to find, but in my opinion it’s Pontiac’s cream of the crop in muscle cars, yeah sure they built the trans-am, and it’s an awesome car also, but it’s no GTO judge, the 455 cubic inch V8 boasted a lowly factory rating 355 BHP, but we all know about the factory hp ratings, don’t we.

Delivering 421 pavement trashing pound feet of torque, it was a force to be reckoned with, and a challenge that most normal muscle cars could not deal with, as it was no normal car, the car came with servo front disc brakes, a turbohydromatic 400 automatic transmission, a hood mounted tach, a ram-air V package to ram fresh air straight down the throat of this beast, a positraction rear end boasting 4.33:1 rear gears, and an option for a M-22 rock-crusher 4 speed transmission.

Nothing Like American Muscle

1969 Nickey Camaro

Nothing like the sound and feel of a big bad rumbling lopping American muscle car to get the blood pumping, if you’ve never had the experience of driving one, then possibly it’s about time you did, how about a Corvette, Mustang, Chevelle or Camaro, some real American muscle, I have had the opportunity to drive every one of these cars, and I love them all, have you ever felt like a god, like nothing could stop you, if not just get behind the wheel of one of these cars and fire up the ignition, the first this you notice is the lope of the engine.
