Welcome to American Relics automotive auction site, this is a specialty site designed for the automotive auctioneer, you can sell any automotive related items on this site.
Rule 1.By accepting the sign up agreement and clicking the check box, you are stating that you as a bidder or auctioneer will always hold up your end of the agreement as stated in these rules.
Rule 2.The agreement is a legal and binding agreement between the auctioneer and the bidder, as a bidder you are in effect stating the you will pay for the items that you have won in a timely and efficient manor, the standard rule here is, you will send 50% of the payment as soon as you place the winning bid, and the rest with in 10 days of the auction ending.
Rule 3.As to the auctioneer, you will promptly upon receiving payment in full send the items that the bidder has won in the auction, this means the same day that you receive your payment, you should send out the items that the bidder has won.
Rule 4.Ameircan Relics takes it's business very seriously, so we try to regulate these rules as good as we can in all matters involved with this site, there shall never be a reason for a bidder not to pay for the items that they have won, except in the event that the item have been misrepresented by the auctioneer.
Rule 5.If you suspect a misrepresentation, then everything lays in timing and the fact that you can prove it, the timing is as follows, with in 10 days of the auction ending, you will send in writing the proof that you have, first to the auctioneer, and then to auctions@hot-rod-harry.com, and we'll look in to your allegations and let you know what has been decided on your dispute.
Rule 6.If you shall for any reason file a dispute of payment on any items, you will need absolute proof that what you allege is true, it has to be this way to thwart for seen scams and misuse of the complaint system that American Relics is providing for you.
Rule 7. If your not located in the USA, or england please don't bother to register here, as we will not be party to any scams from over seas, no Nigerian scams or any other version of the same thing will be permitted here, we will always suggest that our customers take their payment in the form of a credit cars or cashiers check, and we will recommend that no matter what the circumstances, any check is held by our customer at their bank for at least 14 days, or until the funds clear the account.
Rule 8. We are trained to look for scams, and their are allot of them on the net, so we recommend that you never take a check of any kind, and cash it and return a portion of the funds to the person who sent it to you, as this is always a scam, it's called the Nigerian scam
Rule 9. A dispute shall include the following information about the auction and the auctioneer.
1) The auctioneers email address.
2) Your Email address.
3) Auction Number and information about the item that you bid on and won.
4) Your reason for thinking that the item was misrepresented, usually these things have a simple fix. |
